Slice wanted to announce their shiny new return rates in a way that actually stood out. Something fun, scroll-stopping, and totally different from the usual finance talk. So, we came up with a playful, gamified video inspired by classic 8-bit games. The goal was simple: grab attention and make a complex message easy and fun to understand. We built a retro Slice world, dropped our character into it, and let the story do the talking.
Below are a few key sequences of my animation which helped bring this quirky vision to life, ensuring high-quality character animation, expressive and on-point emotions, smooth transitions, and just the right gameplay vibe.
