Mercedes-Benz aimed to uniquely wish their audience a Happy Diwali through a dynamic and engaging video, characterized by its rhythmic energy and vibrant interplay of light.
The concept focused on creating a high-energy, fun piece that prominently features various lighting elements of the car—such as headlights, tail lights, interior lights, speed lines etc — mirroring the festive spirit of Diwali, a festival celebrated for its dazzling lights.
An edit lineup was crafted from carefully selected still images of the car, sourced from a comprehensive asset bank provided by the client which captured the desired spirit and energy, perfectly synchronised with an upbeat soundtrack. Each image was enhanced with additional glows, overlays, and animations, bringing motion to the static frames in harmony with the music. Towards the video’s conclusion, a captivating kaleidoscope effect was created using different car elements, which ultimately reveals the final "Happy Diwali" message.
